In 2011, Mojo Concerts and the city of Amsterdam asked Crafture to make it easier for people to get to events in the city and ask questions about those events on-the-go. That’s when Livecrowd was born.
And we got lucky! Taylor Swift’s 2015 performance at the Ziggo Dome was where we could try out our newly developed platform for the first time.
Little did we know about the hundreds of shows and events that would follow. We worked with festivals like Lowlands, Pinkpop, North Sea Jazz and Woo Hah, and countless of shows at Johan Cruijff Arena, Goffertpark, Ziggo Dome and Afas Live.
what we do
Rather than creating a new app, we decided to build a customer service platform around the applications people were already using to communicate.
We wanted to be the next step in customer care. We wanted to be an experience within the experience. Our goal has always been to answer ANY question you have, whenever you ask it. Your phone is all you need.
Through extensive collaboration with Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and Instagram, we have the tools to help you whenever and wherever you need it with:
- Custom routes on Google Maps
- Parking information and advice
- Ticket problems and questions
- Booking restaurant spots
- Issues at the venue itself
Next, we launched our content team. Their job? To create content that gave the audience at home a sneak-peek into what was happening backstage.
To do this, the content team works in close collaboration with Facebook who give us exclusive tools to broadcast live and use 360 video software.
On top of that our content team creates extraordinary animations with updates about the event, so people are informed on the socials as well as on the screens next to the stage.
Summer Recap 2019
The Livecrowd summer of 2019 was the best!
Movie premieres, concerts, festivals, soccer matches.. we did it all! Check out a recap of all the cool stuff we were involved with in this video.
Dutch Design Week
For Dutch Design week we took it to the next level!
Dutch Design Week is the biggest design event in Northern Europe that presents work and ideas of more than 2600 designers to more than 350,000 visitors from home and abroad.
Livecrowd was there for the second year in a row to help the visitors with any questions they may have. We also offered our mobility services and spent the week coordinating all the VIP taxi riders in the area. This way we could ensure that a DDW visitor could easily and safely have a taxi pick them up at the desired location.
This project was a great succes!
We think about how we can present ‘boring’ information like time schedules and travel information in a way that is actually fun to watch.
This way visitors of the event really pay attention to what is important for them to know at that time.
